Quality Education in Architecture, Planning and Design – CEPT Shows the Way

The history of human habitat is short. Indeed, too short compared to the evolution of human species. Evidence of earliest cave dwelling is probably 35000 years old. The earliest permanent human settlement is not older than 11000 years. Even though short, the pace of human habitation has been very fast. From the most rudimentary mud huts to modern high-rise buildings in brick, wood, steel, cement and glass, architecture has come a long way.

No doubt, architecture has remained a favourite subject for students seeking a career in design. There is no lack of good colleges / institutions offering quality education in architecture and planning but when it comes to choose the best in India, the name of CEPT – Centre for Environment Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad should be on the top. Let us examine this institute, its academic programs and its admission policy.
